Greetings,
We are pleased to announce that the UTM Postgraduate Scholarship for the session 2022/2023-2 will be reopening from April 5th, 2023, until April 13th, 2023. This scholarship is available for both the UTM National Postgraduate Fund and the International Doctoral Fellowship.
The UTM Postgraduate Scholarship aims to support outstanding postgraduate students in their pursuit of academic excellence at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Eligible candidates can apply for this scholarship by visiting the SPS website (https://sps.utm.my/scholarship/) and following the instructions provided in the user manual.

International Conference on X-Rays and Related Techniques in Research and Industry 2023 (ICXRI2023).
23rd – 24th August 2023.
Tenera Hotel, Bangi, Selangor.
Dear Distinguished Professor/Dr./Researcher,
We would like to invite you to contribute an article(s) to ICXRI2023 which will be held in Tenera Hotel, Bangi, Selangor on 23-24th August 2023. The conference will provide a venue for researchers and practitioners in related fields from academia, industry, and government to meet in a forum where the latest research results are presented and prospects for future materials development and characterizations are discussed. The conference is organized jointly by the Dept. Materials, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and X-ray Application Society, Malaysia (XApp-Malaysia).
The conference will cover (but not limited to):
· Materials Characterization and Testing
· Quantitative & Qualitative XRD, XRF Analyses
· Material Simulation/Modelling/Theoretical Studies
· Nuclear Characterization Techniques
· Instrumentation & Computation Approach.
· Elemental Analyses (EDX, XPS, EELS, WDX, Auger Spectroscopy, etc.)
· Other related approaches and techniques.
Please encourage students under your supervision to submit research papers. We appreciate your kind support to disseminate this Call for Papers to your colleagues and researchers. High-quality papers from the conference will be selected for publication in Sopus-Indexed Journal/Proceeding.

Tahniah kepada semua pemenang Anugerah Tokoh Siswa Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi 2022.

Kategori individu memperlihatkan kecemerlangan Hew Huai Ming dari Fakulti Sains yang memperoleh Anugerah Kepimpinan Sukarelawan Alam Sekitar, manakala Belal Yahya Hussein Al-Tam dari Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik memperoleh Anugerah Khas Kepimpinan Pelajar Antarabangsa.

Kategori berpasukan pula menampilkan kecemerlangan Postgraduate Student Society UTM (PGSSUTM) yang berjaya meraih Anugerah Persatuan Pasca Siswazah, hasil daripada kepimpinan kompeten yang ditunjukkan oleh Chiew Shing Mei (Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam), Muhammad Ramziuddin Zakaria (Fakulti Sains) dan Mohd Shamsul Hassan (Sekolah Perniagaan Antarabangsa Azman Hashim).

Team Psyduck UTM (Tempat Ketiga dalam ASEAN Data Science Explorers Regional Final 2020) dan ROBOCON-UTM B (Juara ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2022) pula diiktiraf untuk menerima Anugerah Penghargaan Khas Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi pada majlis ini.
