Kecemerlangan UTM kini berada dalam kelompok antara universiti berteraskan sains dan teknologi terbaik dunia, akan diteruskan dengan enVision UTM 2025.
Naib Canselor UTM, Prof Datuk Ir Ts Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail berkata kecemerlangan UTM itu diraih hasil visi warganya yang merangka strategi jangka panjang terutama Pelan Global UTM 2012-2020. Namun bagi memastikan kecemerlangan UTM berterusan, UTM akan terus diperkasa menerusi enVision UTM 2025.
Bagi memastikan enVision UTM 2025 dipacu pada tahun pertama pelaksanaannya, “The 5 Big Things” diperkenalkan kepada warga UTM sebagai pemangkin pelan ini.
