Daily Inside Thoughts (June 18th)

And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islâmic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islâm), before the torment comes upon you, then you will not be helped.

The Noble Qur’an – An-Nisa 4:17-18

Allâh accepts only the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and foolishness and repent soon afterwards; it is they to whom Allâh will forgive and Allâh is Ever AllKnower, AllWise.

And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until death faces one of them and he says: “Now I repent;” nor of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment.

Daily Inside Thoughts 1 (June 15th)

O Allah, grant us lailatulqadr Amin…

@Regrann from @leaa711 – We have now entered the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Tonight is the 21st, and one of the nights in which we should seek Laylat al-Qadr. Use these nights wisely. Below are a few tips:
.
.
1. Now is the time for du’a, prayer, reciting the Qur’an and dhikr. If you become tired in one act of worship, change to something else.
.
.
2. Don’t waste time, you can sleep and chill for the rest of the year. Even if you go to work, try to stay awake for as much of the night as you can, and sleep after work. Its hard, but remember that one night is equal to a 1,000 months.
.
.
3. If you pray taraweeh, you have 2 options; don’t pray witr with the imam so you can continue praying at home, and if you do pray witr with the imam then use your night in Qur’an and du’a.
.
.
4. Encourage your family members to worship during these nights. The Prophet (peace be upon him) would awake his family members during the last 10.
.
.
5. Now is the time to ask Allah for all your needs, dunya and akhirah. Make du’a for your family and the Ummah too.
.
.
6. Don’t forget to set a portion of the night aside for making tawbah, either in your prayer or outside of it.
.
.
7. Remember that Allah does not tire until you tire, and He will not turn away from you until you turn away from Him.
.
.
8. Seek Laylat al-Qadr. It is most likely to be in one of the odd nights from the last 10. However, to ensure you don’t miss out, worship through all 10 nights, if you’re unable to then choose the odd nights.
.
.
9. Remember to pay Zakat al-Fitr before Eid. It is obligatory on every member of the household (even kids).
.
.
May Allah allow us to witness Laylat al-Qadr and may He shower us with His mercy during these blessed nights.
