It’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone involved in the hybrid mode UTM Thesis Template hands-on Workshop UTM Thesis Template hands-on Workshop held on the 19th February 2023. Hats off and a heartfelt thank you to the esteemed speaker Ts. Dr Wan Zuki Azman, (Senior lecturer from UniMap and also UTM alumni) for his insightful sharing and step by step guidance on using the UTM thesis template. The room was filled with a lot of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as we learned new tips throughout the day. A big thank you to the committee who were a melting pot of minds and comradeship from four faculty PGSS UTM PGSS FBES, UTM PGSS FSSH, UTM PGSS FS and PGSS FME. Last but not least, our wonderful group of participants who attended the face-to-face workshop and online via Webex. You guys were great!

Jubah Collection x Nescafe UTM
2 Februari, JOHOR BAHRU – Melalui Perjanjian yang ditandatangani antara Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) dan Nestle Products Sdn. Bhd., seramai 29 orang pelajar telah dilantik oleh Pusat Inovasi Mahasiswa & Keusahawanan Teknologi (UTMXCITE), UTM iLeaGue untuk menguruskan perniagaan di kiosk Nescafe yang bertempat di Arked Lestari, Kolej 9 & 10 di bawah Nescafe Youth Entrepreneurship Program (NYEP). Kiosk ini yang telah ditutup beberapa tahun lalu akibat pandemik covid-19 telah dibuka semula pada 22 Oktober 2022.
Sejak pelancaran NYEP pada 18 September 2018, seramai 11 orang pelajar telah mengikuti dan menjalankan perniagaan di kiosk Nescafe melalui kerjasama Nescafe-UTM ini. Kumpulan pelajar tersebut telah memenangi tempat ketiga dalam pertandingan Nescafe Youth Entrepreneurship Competition di peringkat kebangsaan pada tahun 2018 dan tempat kedua pada tahun 2019. Pelajar UTM sekali lagi telah memenangi Pertandingan NYEP pada tahun 2022 dengan jumlah kemenangan hadiah wang tunai sebanyak RM18,000 di bawah kategori berikut:
1) “Highest Sales”;
2) “Entrepreneur of the Year”; dan
3) “Creativity in Promotions and Marketing”
4) 1st Runner Up Cup Design Competition
Pelbagai inisiatif promosi dan jualan dijalankan oleh pelajar termasuk “Bouquet Promotion Convocation 2022” dengan kerjasama bersama Sunny Flower Florist. Setiap pembelian bunga, anda akan menerima satu cawan percuma Nescafe. Antara lain adalah Promosi “Jubah Collection x Nescafe UTM”. Melalui promosi ini, graduan boleh menggunakan perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan oleh team Nescafe ini untuk pengambilan jubah dan tebus secawan Nescafe secara percuma. Pelbagai lagi tawaran menarik dilaksanakan oleh kumpulan pelajar ini.
Tahniah diucapkan kepada UHUB Entrepreneur, sebuah syarikat milik pelajar UTM! Walaupun perniagaan ini diusahakan dalam tempoh yang singkat, namun pelajar ini berjaya meraih pendapatan tertinggi di kalangan 16 buah universiti yang bertanding.
