Today is UTM Car free day. It is one of the UTM campus sustainability programme. The target of this initiative is to reduce air pollution, to promote a healthy lifestyle and to improve environmental awareness among campus community. Every Thursday, first week of the month, all the petrol or diesel vehicles are prohibited from entering the inner circle route on campus (Lingkaran Ilmu area) from 8am until 5pm. Faculty of Education obviously affected since its buildings are located in the middle of campus.
Walking from the car park (Zone 1 Laman Menanti) to the C15 building is quite a challenging activity for someone cute ( read obese >_<) like me. Luckily the weather is so nice.
