Conducting research in plant biotechnology & tissue culture; focuses on Malaysian traditional medicinal plants.

	Tutoring in subjects such as Statistics and Modern Mathematics, and demonstrator to lab practical for subjects such as Biochemistry, Plant Physiology and Protein Technology

	Identified proteins from Arabidopsis thaliana phloem to generate Arabidopsis phloem proteome database. Studied the expression of florigen (FT) protein in Arabidopsis’s wild type and ft null mutant to establish the systemic signaling in relation to regulation of flowering time.

	Carrying research on oil palm flowers by studying the gene expression involved in flowering.

	Involved in the analysis of tissue specific expression of oil palm genes during floral development (oil palm). Established in situ hybridization protocol for oil palm & won best poster presentation for the work done.
