Office of Undergraduate Studies once again will be conducting UTM Grand Challenges 2019 (UTMGC 2019) starting from 15 September to 15 December 2019. It is our great pleasure to invite submission of proposal from Team Leader among academic staff. The best 10 proposals will be selected to receive a maximum of RM4000.00 research grant to conduct their UTMGC 2019 project.
The criteria of UTMGC 2019:
- Project must involve a minimum of 20 multidisciplinary UNDERGRADUATE students as team members (Eg. 15 SKM, 5 SKE, 2 SK and 2 AHIBS).
- Collaboration of facilitator, academic and/or non-academic UTM staff, from different school/faculty (team leader must be an academic staff)
- Project must have research element and conducted within 15 September – 15 December 2019 (3 months)
- Final project report must be submitted to UGS Office by 22 December 2019
5. Every project must be presented in UTM iLeague Exhibition in December 2019. - Every project must follow UTM Grand Challenges theme (either engineering or non-engineering) – please refer to list of theme as attached below
