Asia Simulation Conference is an annual simulation conference organized by Asian simulation societies – KSS (Korea Society for Simulation), CSF (China Simulation Federation), JSST (Japan Society for Simulation Technology), Singapore, and Malaysia Simulation Society (MSS). This conference provides a forum for scientist, academicians, and professionals from around the world to promote the advancement of modeling and simulation in industry, research and development. In this regard, the Federation of Asia Simulation Societies (ASIASIM) was formed in 2011.

AsiaSim 2017 conference will be held in Melaka, Malaysia. Strategically located along the Straits of Malacca, Melaka was once the epicenter of an important trading empire which attracted thousands of traders from all over the world. Remnants of its long and illustrious past under the successive rule of the Portuguese, Dutch and British are well-preserved and can still be seen today, earning it the prestigious title of ‘UNESCO World Heritage City’ in 2008.

Topics within the scope of the conference will include, but are not limited to:

• Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Technology
• Modeling Methodology
• Network Simulation
• High Performance Computing and Simulation
• Cloud Simulation
• Agent-based Simulation
• Simulation and Big Data
