OURLY UPDATE ON AIR POLLUTION INDEX (API) FOR UTM KUALA LUMPUR

UTM team of experts are monitoring the haze situation in both campuses.

The API reading as of 9.00am  today is 186 which is considered unhealthy

During the period of haze, we would like to advise everyone to take care of your health and please take precautionary measure.

1. Wear N95 mask if the Air Pollutant Index (API) is more than 100. The normal facemask will not keep you safe.

2. Please stay indoors and no outdoor activities.

3. Always keep yourself hydrated and wash your hands and face regularly after being out in the haze.

4. If you have any health issues – cough, asthma, cold, difficulty in breathing, eye irritation, please come and see our Medical Officer immediately.

The API reading as of 11.00 am  today is 195 which is considered unhealthy

During the period of haze, we would like to advise everyone to take care of your health and please take precautionary measure.

1. Wear N95 mask if the Air Pollutant Index (API) is more than 100. The normal facemask will not keep you safe.

2. Please stay indoors and no outdoor activities.

3. Always keep yourself hydrated and wash your hands and face regularly after being out in the haze.

2. Dimaklumkan bahawa, Unit OSHE UTM Kuala Lumpur TIDAK MEMBENARKAN SEMUA AKTIVITI LUAR  dijalankan sehingga bacaan IPU kembali ke paras <100. Perkara ini adalah langkah awal kawalan risiko yang diambil oleh pihak JKKP UTM Kuala Lumpur.


3. Sehubungan dengan itu,  profram Car Free Day @ UTM KL Siri 3/2019 yang akan berlangsung pada 25 September 2019 adalah DIBATALKAN. 

4. Dipohon kerjasama dari semua warga UTM  Kuala Lumpur dapat memaklumkan kepada staf dan pelajar di bawah tanggungjawab masing – masing agar mematuhi arahan ini. UTM team of experts are monitoring the haze situation in both campuses and the management will issue appropriate notice before 5pm on daily basis. 
 
Please keep yourself alert on any further notices and announcements on haze situation by the University.
 
Classes in UTMKL and UTMJB for tomorrow (19/9/2019) will be conducted as usual until further notice.

Peringatan Menghadapi Jerebu untuk Warga UTM Kuala Lumpur Inbox

Seperti sedia maklum, pihak Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia  telah menasihati orang ramai agar mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga dalam menghadapi keadaan jerebu.
Sehubungan dengan itu, Unit OSHE UTM Kuala Lumpur  menyarankan agar akitiviti luar untuk warga UTM (staf dan pelajar) tidak dijalankan sehingga keadaan cuaca kembali normal. Untuk makluman, bacaan IPU pada masa e-mel ini dihantar adalah melebihi 150  dan status ini tidak sihat untuk sebarang aktiviti luar.
Mohon kerjasama semua dapat memaklumkan kepada staf dan pelajar di bawah tanggungjawab masing – masing agar mematuhi saranan ini. Jika ada sebarang masalah penafasan atau kesihatan sila rujuk ke Pusat Kesihatan Universiti dengan segera.
