My Top 5 Favourite Country Pavilions in Astana EXPO 2017

Here are my Top 5 Favourite Country Pavilions during my particpation in Expo 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan in conjunction with Malaysian Education Week. The Malaysian Education Week was held from 14th to 18th August 2017 at the Malaysian Pavilion.

1. Kazakhstan Pavilion

  • As the host nation, Kazakhstan is the only nation with its own stand-alone pavilion, the giant sphere which was located at the center of the exposition.
  • At 80 meters in diameter, the Kazakhstan Pavilion’s sphere allowed for 15,000 square meters (160,000 square feet) of space on eight floors. It will be the world’s largest spherical building.
  • The Sphere placed four thematic pavilions with different exhibition themes: “Energy World”, “Future Energy”, “Energy for All”, and “My Future Energy”.
  • Digital, multimedia and interactive technologies allowed enhancement of perceptions of the display areas at the second until eighth floors of the Museum of Future, where the basic types of energy was demonstrated: those of the space, sun, biomass, wind, water and kinetics.
