The Tahan Sports Hijab

Are u looking for a hijab for your sporting activities? These days women are taking part in various adventurous activities like hiking, running, and weight lifting. Thus, a comfy sports hijab is necessary. I was lucky I could try out the latest Tahan™ Instant Hijab by PTT Outdoor and let me tell you that this is one of the best sports hijab I ever had. I used it on different occasions while working at the gym and boy, was I impressed! 👍👍

Tahan™ is light weight, with a mixed of polyester and stretchable spandex. The best part is, the material is really cooling and breathable. The plus point is its quick dry feature. For someone like me who sweat a lot at the gym, the Tahan™ sports hijab is a must item in my wardrobe. To top this off, is its elegant design.

Sayonara is not about good-byes!

We had a farewell party for some of the fellows who have left KTR. Dr Hafiz, Mr Roslan, Mr Din & Pn Farha. This was a pending project. We kept mentioning about the farewell in every meeting but never get to see it done.

But this time, I made sure we planned and executed our pending project. Thanks to Dr Beni & Mr Kip who managed to pull through.

(Makan and game time. Mentang2 dr yoga kata you da boleh jalan….apa lagi, tapi apa2 pun balik rumah terus sapu kaki dgn minyak sbb sakit punye pasal!)

All is well

Alhamdulillah, after 2 months of non weight bearing, making myself feeling slightly crazy not going to class, I am finally a-OK! Thumbs up! My specialist has given me the green light to walk again!

My 58th day post op. Dr yoga my ortho specialist said I am all good. I can start wearing my normal shoes.

Traumatic fractures

Traumatic fractures are caused by a direct blow or impact, such as seriously stubbing your toe. Traumatic fractures can be displaced or nondisplaced. If the fracture is displaced, the bone is broken in such a way that it has changed in position (malpositioned).

Signs and symptoms of a traumatic fracture include:

  • You may hear a sound at the time of the break.
  • Pinpoint pain (pain at the place of impact) at the time the fracture occurs and perhaps for a few hours later, but often the pain goes away after several hours.
  • Crooked or abnormal appearance of the toe.
  • Bruising and swelling the next day.

What I am experiencing is traumatic fracture!

Sutures Removal

The sutures were removed after 30 days and steri-strips (special Band-Aids) were applied. My foot was still wet in the shower but again, I just couldn’t help it.

Metatarsal Post-Op

What I did at home as post op care:

Elevate my foot with pillows. Get some foot massage.

Take pain medication as directed.

Make follow up appointment with Dr Yoga almost every week.  At these visits, x-rays were taken, a new sterile dressing was re-applied.

.

Do dressing on the wound- I always  got my dressings wet while bathing or taking wudhu…well what to do?

“Electrical” pains and swelling is normal according to my specialist. So bear with it.

And finally, to kill boredom, do online shopping!

Nutrilite Supplements

Medical prescription dah bes dimakan. I am sooo tak sabar to get back on my feet, so order #amway supplements. Ada kwn rekomen #shaklee tapi x tau hati terbukak nk beli #nutrilite pulak. Ala mana2 supplements sama je….Asbab makan supplements ni mungkin wound boleh recover copek sikit 😚😚

Menu for the sick
