The conference is jointly organized by the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Johor, Malaysia), Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga (Surabaya, Indonesia), and Salahaddin University-Erbil ( Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq).

The scope of the ICOWOBAS 2019 encompasses research from fundamental principles to practical applications in the broad field of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
