2022 Day 38 Task – FRGS Progress Report Submission

I lost track of previous FRGS progress report reminder but finally an email that arrived in my inbox today quickly provided me the instant alert I needed. The alert clearly mentioned you have ONE more day left.

Without hesitating, I immediately login to my Mygrant Portal to do the report. I struggled at first because I am not used to the system and it is not that we do this report on a monthly basis. Luckily I managed to be assured on what to do after calling Asmadi for help, just to double confirm which part to fill up. Alhamdulillah I have just submitted the report and asked my ARO, Amelia at RMC to check if the progress report passed through.

Other tasks for the day:

  • Planning and meeting about SPC22
  • Various equipment and consumable purchase for my Master student
  • AJEE management
  • SCEE WBS work in progress
  • SCEE support letter from …
  • Setting appointment with TNCA and TNCPI to discuss few EE matters.

2021 Day 188 Task – Pitching Our Project @ Safety Champion in Engineering Education (SCEE), RAE, UK

Today, we pitched Our Project @ Safety Champion in Engineering Education (SCEE) Project under Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE), UK. It was quite a nerve-racking experience. But I felt I did quite well. We managed to have a very super last minute meeting just before the SCEE program, managed to get the slide prepared in good shape and managed to present the proposal. We hope to get pass to Phase 2 of SCEE Fellowship program. In Syaa Allah. More pictures and information here.

2021 Day 125 Task – Safety Champion in Engineering Education (SCEE) First Meeting

Today is the start of the SCEE RAE Fellowship program. I participated in this program and I wish to learn precious skills and knowledge from the experts from UCL, RAE and other institutions. There are 25 participants from 17 institution around the world.

The first program commenced at 5pm to 7pm Malaysia time, 6th May 2021.
