2022 Day 38 Task – FRGS Progress Report Submission

I lost track of previous FRGS progress report reminder but finally an email that arrived in my inbox today quickly provided me the instant alert I needed. The alert clearly mentioned you have ONE more day left.

Without hesitating, I immediately login to my Mygrant Portal to do the report. I struggled at first because I am not used to the system and it is not that we do this report on a monthly basis. Luckily I managed to be assured on what to do after calling Asmadi for help, just to double confirm which part to fill up. Alhamdulillah I have just submitted the report and asked my ARO, Amelia at RMC to check if the progress report passed through.

Other tasks for the day:

  • Planning and meeting about SPC22
  • Various equipment and consumable purchase for my Master student
  • AJEE management
  • SCEE WBS work in progress
  • SCEE support letter from …
  • Setting appointment with TNCA and TNCPI to discuss few EE matters.

2021 Day 151 Task – Checked My PhD Student Final Correction

The above Safety Concept Mindmap was part of the assignment for Week 5 under the SCEE RAE Fellowship program

Finally the final correction is done and completed. I’m prioritizing this, dedicating my time to check my student’s thesis. While doing this, I also did my best to complete as much activities possible as shown below.

Other highlighted tasks of the day:

  • Continue check ECM paper – Yes this will take days since it’s a long and complicated paper.
  • Went through SCEE Weekly training – under Future Learn Platform. Done!
  • Rectified Application Activity to Attend ICLCA2021.
  • Checked PSM and Master student’s progress report.
  • Attended MESYUARAT JAWATANKUASA PENGURUSAN JABATAN TIMBALAN NAIB CANSELOR (PENYELIDIKAN DAN INOVASI) BIL 3/2021
  • Anwar’s Water MDPI paper published!

2021 Day 94 Tasks – TNCPI What’s Next Action Plan Workshop

I was invited to TNCPI What’s Next Action Plan Workshop since last month due to my capacity as CEE Director. This is the first face to face official event under TNCPI that I attended at Pulai Spring Resort. All directors from Institute, Hi-COE, COE and other PTJ attended the workshop. We were there to be briefed and later discussed on what’s the plan for the next 3 years on UTM future.
