Day 265 Task – RCEE2020 Preparation Meeting

Since RCEE2020 is around the corner, we started to feel the tense and adrenaline. It is time to check up again all the checklist, the flow, the technical preparation etc. Today is also the due date for the submission of consortium grant, hence the Director was busy preparing for the mega grant. I was asked to chair the meeting and ensure everything will be smooth and fine. It was initially challenging because I am not the best person who knew the overall of the conference, but someone must handle that and I was assigned. Alhamdulillah the cooperation from all committees were brilliant and amazing.
Lets hope and pray that we’ll successfully run RCEE2020 superbly.

Day 264 Task – Still Work Marathon

I shared yesterday about the numerous tasks that needed to be completed and weekend is the time to perform the marathon of work. Well, today it continues. I am done with checking my PhD student’s Chapter 7 and 8 earlier in the morning. Now, now I am working on to next task.
At the same time, the continuous discussion on preparation for RCEE and other CEE related tasks are on going in the Whatsapp group. Many decisions are to be made collectively and as a fellow member of CEE I felt obligated to help and participate in the discussion as much as I can, even though it is an off day today.
I’ll try to work as much as I can, as much as I can cope, then after lunch I will probably take a break.

Read Chapter 7 of my phd studentImprove paper ICLCA2020 for CET publication- Prepare 2 minute CEE introductory video
- Prepare End Report GUP grant
- Submit the long pending review paper to a journal
- Check the oil tank specifications
- … and much more… I don’t want to release everything here… Some of it, let me keep it to myself.
