Today I was more focused on preparing of Mathwork Tank Storage problem. The problem need to be real industrial problem that students can learn and appreciate. I included real Autocad drawing so it will look real and student can imagine what they will face later when they practice as an engineer.
Other tasks:
This is part of the Mathwork Grant Project which is to create a real case problem to be completed by engineering students. I was assigned to search for oil storage tank detail design. From it, we will create / simulate a real process control problem to provide student with real exposure on solving various problem from numerous engineering discipline: chemical engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
This will be an interesting and challenging tasks, but I am open to learn and considering it as an adventure. Pray for me…

It is the first time that Sekolah Menengaah Kebangsaan Taman Sutera (SMKTS), Johor Bahru participated in the Problem Based Learning (PBL) for Low Carbon Society (LCS) education in their school. About 32 form 2 students participated in this program which is conducted on every Wednesday morning from 7.30am to 9.15AM. It was my first time entering and monitoring the PBL activity in this school.
