Marking Test for ODL METE1153 Course

It has been very tough for me to pursue this personal mission – that is to download and mark the test for ODL METE1153 Course – Occupational Safety for Energy System. This was mainly due to my super extravaganza hectic schedule. However, I forced my self, squeezed some time in a peaceful Sunday morning to mark as much as I can. I am pleased with what I did today. There are 10-15% more of marking to be completed, which will be done tomorrow.

In the evening, I was having a second mock presentation for my three FYP students (Tsai, Amy and Syahmi). I can say they have improved their slide and presentation. InsyaAllah they will do better tomorrow, during the official FYP 1 presentation.

2022 Day 44 Task – Respond to Student’s Test Queries & Result

Introduction to Engineering Test result was released to the students of my class last week. Some of the students inquired about the answers, marks, and others. I did not have the time to entertain them last week due to managing some other tasks. Today I make it a point to respond to all those who have asked me about their test result.

The delay for doing this was also partly because of the online class. At least if we are face to face, then we can immediately response to them. Even though this maybe a small task, it is still super important for me as an educator. As a lecturer, our focus on teaching and helping our students.

Other tasks of the day:

  • Updating student’s marks for ITE
  • SCEE RAE Project proposal still on-going

2021 Day 137 Task – Marking Petroleum and Refinery Technology Test

This is not an easy tasks as the answer scripts are all in softcopy form. Students have uploaded the pdf version of their answer script to elearning and I just used the platform the marked it online and insert the marks straight away in eLearning. Luckily I have graded more than half of it the day before and left with just few more today.

Other Highlighted Tasks of the day:

  • Mock Presentation #1 with my PDP students at 1pm.
  • Went to clinic for wife and daughter medication.
  • Assisted my daughter (standard 3) with her online class and assignment.

Day 166 Task – Test MKKK1653 Safety and Health in Chemical Plant

Today in the morning, I conducted Test 1 for my Master Safety Class MKKK1653. There are no other option than to handle to test on an online mode. I uploaded the question 10 minutes before the test commences which was at 8.30am and gave the students 2 hours to complete the test. At 10.30am, the students submitted their answer script one by one via eLearning submission link.
