A meeting between PGSS-LA and Advisors was held on 25 May, 2015 to discuss matters related to postgraduate students.  It went well, even though not many turned up for the event.  Hope we could get a good number of attendees in future.

Professor Madya Dr. Norazman Abdul Majid is giving his speech to postgraduate students.

As an Academic Manager (Research and Innovation), I was asked to give a welcoming speech.

Alhamdullilah, the FRGS Pre-Evaluation Session which was held on 28 May 2015 at Digital Lab C went well.  Thanks a gazillion to Associate Professor Dr Sarimah Shamsudin for being the evaluator for the session.  The proposals presented at the session were:

1.   Advice and Information Giving Framework for HIV Specialist Nurses to Achieve National Strategic Plan for HIV by Dr Noor Aireen Ibrahim, LAJB

2.   A Cognitive Apprenticeship Model for English Language Curriculum that Bridges Engineering Academic and Workplace Communication Skills by Dr Seriaznita Mat Said, LAKL

Congratulations to Nur Salawati Mohd Nadzri for successfully defended her thesis on 28 April 2015 with B1 results.

The workshop was fantastic. We learnt a lot from  Dr. Lise Fontaine (Cardiff University) and Dr. Derek Irwin (Nottingham University KL). Million thanks to both of them for sharing their knowledge and experience with LA academic staff members and students.  #SFL workshop 28 April to 4 May 2015.
