Week 11: Annotated Bibliography (5 -9 April)

The followings are some useful links for annotated bibliography.

  • Task (30%): Prepare an annotated bibliography on any current issue which is relevant to TESL.  Relate the issues to the discussion of  21st century, Industrial Revolution 4.0 or blended learning. Your annotated bibliography must have at least 20 entries in an APA citation format.  Submit your annotated bibliography through E-learning latest by 23rd April 2020 (Week 13).  Best wishes

Week 13: Writing a literature review (19 – 23 April)

How to write a literature review.

Discussion on writing a literature review and focused areas via online Forum or Whatsapp.  Marks allocated for the literature review are 30% (PLO 5 and PLO 11).

As an alternative, you can also write a conceptual paper.  A conceptual paper is actually based on our reading and not focusing on research.  It does not need methodology and findings sections.  How to write a conceptual paper? Visit the link below to get the answers

Week 14 : Writing a literature review (26 – 30 April)

Students work on their literature review individually.

Week 15: Writing a literature review (3 – 7 Mei)

Synchronous OL (Big Blue Button / Zoom):

1.Updating individual progress on writing a literature review

2. Input on video preparation as to replace oral presentation. Video should be on students’ literature review and about a 3-5 minute duration.  Marks allocated for video presentation are 20%  (PLO5)

Instead of doing oral presentation in class, you are required to produce a 3-5 minute video, which is related to your literature review.  The followings are links to some samples of ELT video for your perusal.
