As much as possible I try to make things easy for others. Why? Because I believe when we make things easy for others, in return, Allah will make things easy for us. Allah’s reward is the great reward. The followings are the hadith and verse taken from the Quran about making things easy for others.
The Prophet (pbuh) would order his Companions to be easy upon the people. He told Muadh ibn Jabal and Abu Musa al-Ashari when sending them to Yemen;
“Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse them (making them flee).” (hadith recorded by al-Bukhari)
Allah SWT is the all seer of his servants (QS 40:44) and Allah SWT will not burden a soul except within its own capacity (QS 2:286). Righteousness is refraining from inflicting harm and aggression towards others and ourselves. The Quran says: “Cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.” (QS 5:2)
