Mini Re-Union with my Primary School Mates
It was such a lovely gathering with my primary school mates at the wedding reception of our fren’s, Zurina, son (7 June 2015). Â Bringing back the memory of Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (I) Residency (1). Hope we can meet again.

PGSS-LA and Advisors Meeting 25 May 2015
A meeting between PGSS-LA and Advisors was held on 25 May, 2015 to discuss matters related to postgraduate students.  It went well, even though not many turned up for the event.  Hope we could get a good number of attendees in future.

Pre-Evaluation Session for FRGS 1/2015
Alhamdullilah, the FRGS Pre-Evaluation Session which was held on 28 May 2015 at Digital Lab C went well.  Thanks a gazillion to Associate Professor Dr Sarimah Shamsudin for being the evaluator for the session.  The proposals presented at the session were:
1. Â Advice and Information Giving Framework for HIV Specialist Nurses to Achieve National Strategic Plan for HIV by Dr Noor Aireen Ibrahim, LAJB
2. Â A Cognitive Apprenticeship Model for English Language Curriculum that Bridges Engineering Academic and Workplace Communication Skills by Dr Seriaznita Mat Said, LAKL

SFL workshop with Dr Lise Fontaine and Dr Derek Irwin
The workshop was fantastic. We learnt a lot from  Dr. Lise Fontaine (Cardiff University) and Dr. Derek Irwin (Nottingham University KL). Million thanks to both of them for sharing their knowledge and experience with LA academic staff members and students.  #SFL workshop 28 April to 4 May 2015.

Hammamet, Tunisia 25-28 March 2015
Attending the 1st TSFLC 2015 in Hammamet, Tunisia. The view was splendid and my room was facing the Mediterranean Sea. Â The sounds of the sea with splashing waves and breeze could be heard day and night. I really enjoyed my stay in Hammamet, Tunisia.
Class Debate 21 April 2015
We had a debate session in class and the motion was ‘The Government Should Spend More on Education’.
Points from the Government team:
- need more educated people
- send students oversea for technology transfer
- no point of having sophisticated technology if we don’t have people to operateÂ
Point from the Opposition team:
- should not just focus on education, need to strike a balance
- spend on others as well like transportation.
- Public transportation is important.
- National defence needs more allocation since it is crucial to the nation
We were having fun listening to the arguments made by potential debaters. Â It was such a marvellous session, BRAVO!!!
