Hail the Judge is a Chinese movie which was set with the Imperial China genre. Pao is a new young talented judge, who would like to expose the wrongdoing of corrupted officers. A valuable lesson from his father, who was once a corrupted officer, is ‘if the corrupted officers are vicious, then the decent officers should be more vicious’. Hehehehe, it takes a crook to fight a crook. But, one is a bad crook and another is a good crook. There is a proverb in Malay, that is, ‘baru kena buku dengan ruas’ which means ‘it serves you right’ or ‘you deserve it’.

Kenapa ada perumpamaan bagai Tikus Membaiki Labu? Bila masa dan bagaimana terjadinya tikus membaiki labu? Maksud tikus membaiki labu ialah apabila seseorang ingin membaiki sesuatu yang dia tiada ilmu pengetahuan mengenainya dan akhirnya menyebabkan benda yang dibaiki itu semakin rosak dan mendatangkan kemudaratan. Apa yang boleh kita pelajari ialah kita kaji dan selidik dulu sebelum cuba membaiki sesuatu benda atau keadaan. Jangan sampai kita mengambil keputusan yang akan merumitkan lagi keadaan. Kita kena mengakui yang ada perkara yang kita tidak tahu atau tidak berilmu dan dalam dunia ini ada orang yang lebih pandai dari kita. Janganlah kita menjadi seperti tikus yang hanya mendatangkan kerosakan.
