How to deal with people who crave attention.
What do you do if you have a child who is an attention seeker? Ignore, right? Just ignore. Likewise, if you have people, who crave for attention around you, just ignore. Once they realise that attention-seeking will not take them anywhere, they will STOP.
Magnificent century
Would like to know more about the great dynasty of Othmaniah or Ottoman from Turkey. It is intriguing to learn the cause of its fall. If from the movie, it was so apparent that Hurem was the main cause.
The family tree of Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.
Ustaz Auni is well known for his knowledge in the Islamic history. I like the way he gives talk, he tries his very best to teach and make his audience understand what he is talking about. Hope you enjoy watching the video. Thank you to my colleague, Dr Aida, for sharing this YouTube video.
To talk about your problems or joys
When you keep talking about your problems, others might find you very negative. Nonetheless, when you keep talking about your joys, others might get irritated. The best is to follow Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.), that is, to be moderate and talk less.
Talking about our problem is our greatest addiction. Break the habit. Talk about your joys.

Quote of the day
I got a quote shared by my old friend, who was my classmate. The beautiful quote reminds me of the posting I made on spotlight stealer. Maybe getting attention from others is the human nature which is hard to get rid off.
We should be lifting each other up,
and cheering one another on.
Not trying to outshine,
or one up each other.
The sky would be awfully dark with only one star.

Debating Ideas not Discussing Identities
How debate can make us disagree productively:
- to stop talking and to start listening
- to stop dismissing and to start persuading
- to stop shutting down and to start opening our minds
Data alone is not persuasive, weave it with stories
Data doesn’t change behaviour, but emotions do.
Data never speaks for itself, that is why you need stories to go with the data.
Don’t wait for a perfect story. Take your story and make it perfect.
